Glass Experience Day

Please note - We are fully booked for the remainder of 2024 and are now taking bookings for 2025.

This is a full day introduction to working with glass, both kiln fused and flame worked.

To begin we will use an oxy-propane lampwork torch and make several styles of glass beads, pull stringers and twists.

We will then move on to cutting sheet glass to make a fused glass project using the stringers and twists you made on the torch.

Finally we will move back to the lampwork torch and blow a Christmas bauble.

Everything made on the day will be posted to you after they have been annealed in our kiln.

This is one to one teaching rather than a class of students to give you the maximum possible learning time.

We aim to run the course 10am – 5:30pm with a break for light refreshments but times are flexible around your needs. Weekend dates are available but limited, we will contact you after purchase to book the date.
