These are our terms and conditions for the use of our website and the purchase of products through the website.

The terms and conditions herein together with any notices or conditions on other areas of this website will all together govern use by customers of this website. You should note that Kalypso Glass may at any time make changes to or remove part of this website without any liability to customers for such changes. Kalypso Glass reserves the right to change these terms and conditions in the future without specifically notifying customers and continued use of the website or placing of orders after such changes shall be deemed to be acknowledgement and acceptance thereof.
A contract will only come into existence between you the customer and us once your order has been processed and dispatched.
When you as a customer place an order via this website, you warrant by placing the order that:-
- You are not a minor or otherwise legally incapable of entering into a binding contract.
- The personal details which you give us on registration are fully complete and accurate.
- You are not using a false name or the name of any other person or body which you are not authorised to use.
Placement of an order
When you place your order you are doing so in acceptance of these terms and conditions and it is important that you have read them before you go ahead and order.
Cancelling an order
As a customer, you are free to cancel an order within 14 days and will be refunded amount of your order to their account the order originally was paid from.
Acceptance of an order
When an order is placed you will get an order confirmation sent to the email address you provided during checkout, containing information about order content, prices.
Delivery
You as a buyer are free to choose from mentioned and at the time relevant delivery option(s). Kalypso Glass assumes no responsibility for damages during transport or damages caused from any delays beyond its control.
Items returned through non-delivery to an address or non-collection from a postal depot will incur a redelivery charge.
You, the buyer are responsible for any fees, taxes and charges that may be levied on importing into your country. Please check your country’s own policy regarding imports before ordering if you are unsure.
Returns Policy
Kalypso Glass accepts returns within 14 days if products are not used, changed, washed or otherwise manipulated. Products need to be returned in original packaging. No products may be returned to Kalypso Glass without the prior written consent of Kalypso Glass and may be subject to a return charge.
You must contact us within fourteen (14) days of receiving your item(s) and then return the item(s) to us, unworn and unused with any labels / notices still attached, in the original packaging within fourteen (14) days of notifying us that you intend to do so. You should post your returned item to the address shown at the bottom of this page.
Please note that for hygiene earrings are supplied sealed in plastic, once opened we will not accept returns.
We are only obliged to refund the cost of our standard shipping rate for your item, shown as default when you checkout. If you have chosen to pay additional costs, such as special delivery, these costs will not be refunded if you choose to cancel.
Please note that return postage costs will not be refunded.
For your protection we recommend that you use an insured/trackable method of return and the original packaging to ensure safe delivery.
Our items are packaged in such a way that you can easily examine them on receipt and repackage if necessary. You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the item(s) whilst they are in your possession. Returned items must be complete, undamaged, unworn and unused with any labels / notices still attached, include any supplies and documentation etc that were part of the cancelled transaction. Missing parts or damaged merchandise will be deducted from the final refund. If any of the above mentioned conditions are not met, we reserve the right to refuse return or significantly lower the value of the refund due to diminished value.
We will refund you on receipt of returned goods using the same method by which you paid.
Commissions
Each commission undertaken will only begin after consultation between ourselves and the client. Where necessary, sketches or photos will be supplied. On larger projects we may ask for a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the commission before work begins. We aim to complete standard commissions within 28 days from design approval.
Classes
On purchasing a class with Kalypso Glass we will contact you as soon as possible to arrange the date and time for the class to take place, if we are unable to find a mutually agreeable date a full refund will be made.
If you wish to cancel a class after your fourteen (14) day right to cancel you must contact us as soon as possible.
If the cancellation is made 2 days or more in advance of the class then a new mutually agreeable date will be agreed. For example a class due to start at 9am on Saturday must be cancelled before 9am Thursday.
After this time the date of the class cannot be changed, a new booking must be made.
No refunds will be made after a date is agreed.
When taking part in a class you will use gas torches with a very hot flame and handle molten glass, both have the potential to burn both you and your clothes if not handled in the way instructed. Kalypso Glass are not liable for any damage or injury incurred while taking part in a class.
Under 18s, we may accept bookings including people under the age of 18 but please contact us to discuss before booking.
Liability
We try to have the information on this website as accurate as possible but we make no warranties, whether express or implied, regarding its accuracy. We also do not make any warranties regarding any matters relating to the use of this website and it is a matter for you to ensure that your own equipment is protected from viruses or other external factors.
Your rights are protected by the Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act, 1980, and also the Consumer Protection Act, 2007, where you are a consumer. Nothing in this website shall affect your rights under the applicable law.
Severance
If any of these terms and conditions shall prove to be void, unlawful, or unenforceable for any reason then such term or condition shall be deemed to be severed from the remaining terms and conditions which shall remain valid and enforceable.
If any provision of these terms and conditions shall be unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable then that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
